Mrs. Marianna Stubblefield, age 75, of Murray, Kentucky, died on Friday, September 6, 2019, at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House in Murray, Kentucky.
Mrs. Stubblefield was born on February 6, 1944, in New Providence, Kentucky to the late Ellis Shoemaker and Myrtie Shoemaker. She retired as the Chief Deputy Clerk for the Calloway County Clerk's Office and was a member of the New Concord Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Edwin Stubblefield; they were married on November 16, 1962, in Murray, Kentucky; one son, Chad Stubblefield and wife Jennifer of Murray, Kentucky; one sister, Clara Stubblefield and husband Bobby C. of Murray, Kentucky; one brother, Terry Shoemaker and wife JoAnn of Murray, Kentucky; as well as two grandchildren, Morgan Stubblefield Carter and husband Wade of Murray, Kentucky and Ellis Stubblefield of Murray, Kentucky.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, September 10, 2019, at the Glendale Road Church of Christ in Murray, Kentucky with Steven Hunter and Bob Palmer officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., on Monday, September 9, 2019, at the Glendale Road Church of Christ.
Expressions of sympathy can be made to the West Kentucky Youth Camp, a Christian camp that both of her grandchildren hold near and dear to their hearts, located at 310 Youth Camp Road, Marion, KY 42064.

Charles Edwin and family - you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Marianna was a life long friend and I will miss her so much. She had such a sweet spirit and was loved by everyone that knew her. She is with God now and will always be in our hearts. So very sorry. Love you all.
