Candle

To the family of Kathy, sending my deepest condolences to all of you. Especially to her sister, Sharon, and her brother Keith, who I went to school with all three at Benton, and at our home Church, New Zion Baptist Church on Wadesboro Road outside of Benton. May Our Lord Jesus continue to fill the emptiness in each and every immediate family member. RIP Kathy

I worked with Kathy at Sportable. She was such a sweet person and a hard worker. She loved her family. I will miss running into her at Walmart and catching up on life with her. A fine, fine lady.

What a BLESSING it being your nephew Aunt Kathy. The live you had for each and every one of us was no less than that of Granny&Pa(Mr & Mrs. Johnny and Wanda Keeling) We all will miss you dearly and immensly. May your legacy be carried on thru Ashley,Amanda and Frankie. Until we meet again. I love you... JJ

I am so grateful for the adventures filled with love and laughter that you,Sharon and I have enjoyed over the years! It was so much fun to spend the night together! We never minded sleeping three in a full size bed, even as teenagers! We played dolls, built playhouses, created make-believe apartments out of barn stalls, and shared boy-crushes!

We spent many Sunday afternoons driving around the city dump practicing for our driver’s license tests!

Once we got those licenses, it was the routine for us to drive to Paducah to shop, always stopping by Bob’s for a Fiesta Burger and fries!

Truth be known, we never stoppedv being those young girls when we were together! Ashley and Amanda can verify that fact having been a part of our infamous Girls Night Out!

I will miss you, but I will never forget the sound of your laughter or that dry sense of humor. I will think of you whenever I see a Corvette or drive by the Corvette Museum! I will be comforted by the knowledge that I will see you again.

I have been incredibly blessed being your aunt.

Thank God for memories of Kathy. We will not be able to see her again on earth, but we only have to recall the good times. The biggest act of kindness Kathy ever did for me was to go with a very excited sixteen year old to get his driver's license. It was 3:00 pm on a Friday and I had just got home from a FFA trip. It was also the first day I was eligible to test. Everyone that might go with me was unavailable. I called Kathy and she said she would go! I passed but barely! A soft spoken but good person. I lost a great cousin but Heaven has gained an Angel!

Blessed Assurance Jesus is mine! Oh, what a foretaste of Glory Divine. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Say hello to Mama, Daddy, and Margaret Ann. It's not good-bye; it's I'll see you later. But I certainly will miss you horribly my precious sister, friend, confidant, and partner in shenanigans.
