Condolence & Memory Journal

I enjoyed working with Glenn. We endured some very challenging times as an organization. Glenn worked hard to bring us along as a organization and make a team that survived various obstacles along the way. He even tried to make a golfer out of me to help manage our stress at work. Looking back to the BJC days, those were special character building times for all of us. My prayers for Carol and family are for a peace and comfort that passes human understanding from the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Carol, Ricky and I are so sorry to hear about Glenn's passing. One of my special memories of Glenn was on 9/11. He was as upset as the rest of us at Kevil but he gathered several of together and reminded us that our battle on earth was not against flesh and blood but against evil in an unseen world. Then he encourages us to gather for prayer. Our prayers are for your comfort and peace.

Carol, Tammy, Jennifer, Kelly, & Adam,

Our hearts are heavy with sadness at the loss of a great husband, father, and brother. I felt very blessed and proud to call him my 'big brother'. I have fond memories of impatiently waiting for the weekends when we would pick Glenn up from college for a visit home. I also remember sorting through thousands of car wash quarters looking for the one(s) Glenn was missing from his collection, and how happy he would be when I gave them to him. And then that special weekend when we delivered to Glenn at college, the car that mom and dad bought for him. I remember that my first flight was with mom, dad, and Glenn when we flew to Florida to visit "Grampa Van".

Someone this special canl never be forgotten! May the prayers and peace of knowing that we will see him again, get you all through this difficult time.

Thoughts and prayers for your family. Glenn was my project manager at BJC during my early years working on the DOE project. I will always remember him showing us how to do a penguin walk during snow and ice. He had a great sense of humor.

So sorry to hear that Glenn has passed. He was my boss while in Paducah and we had great times together in the great outdoors (deer hunting in Ballard County) while he was in Paducah. Condolences to the family and God be with you and Glenn's soul.

Very sorry for you loss. Glenn was one of my favorite people of all-time, generous of soul, spirit, and wisdom. The best times, however, were when the banter was flowing in every direction, with wit and affection, and Glenn gracefully received as good as he gave. Glad he’s with God; we were all better off to have had him in our lives.
