Offering my sincere condolences to Toni, Johnna, Valerie and the rest of the family. I have always loved to read, so some of my best memories from North Elementary are of going to the library and especially the book fairs. I have to admit I was a little scared of Mr. Jones for a couple of years because he seemed so strict. However, as I got older, I realized that he was really very laid back as long as everyone followed the rules of the library, which he explained clearly and enforced fairly but definitely did not hesitate to discipline those who broke them. I may have done a few (thousand) write-offs for him but am glad that I was never on the receiving end of his paddle.

JW was one special man. His words of encouragement were a blessing to me. I will never forget his days as librarian at Faxon....As I started preaching I will never forget how he helped me as I preached at Hazel one Sunday years ago. Prayers for you all!
