Ms. Betty Elkins, age 84, of Murray, Kentucky died Monday, April 16, 2012 at 10:35 pm at her home.
Ms. Elkins was born June 26, 1927 in Detroit, Mi., to the late Robert and Myrtle Bryan Elkins. She is a retired school teacher with the Marshall Co. School district.
Survivors include two brothers, Bryan Elkins of Murray, Ky., and W.A. Elkins of Kirksey, Ky. also several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Rainey Miller Elkins.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Murray Memorial Gardens, John Dale will officiate and entombment will follow. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 18, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home.
